Based in Matlock, Derbyshire, but working nationwide, Irony Fireside Ltd. are a HETAS registered installer with a proven track record of supplying a fitting log burners and solid fuel stoves.

Established in 2008, from a background in steel fabrication and steel erecting, the team specialise in the less straightforward jobs, either with awkward access or where addition skills are required to create a special feature in their home.
Our expertise in working at heights, usually without the need for scaffolding, means that we are able to provide a solution to the jobs others might refuse.
We have the skills and knowledge to maintain and repair chimney stacks in a variety of materials. Working on all ages of property, including listed buildings, we can liaise with building control, architects, planning departments and heritage officers as required.

In recent years, with the increase in garden offices and cabins, shepherd’s huts and yurts, we have been asked to do more and more installations of stoves in these types of buildings.
From this the natural progression for the company became apparent when a sauna purchase online resulted in an unsatisfactory product which we felt the need to improve. And so by combining our knowledge of stove installations and love for saunas we worked to build our first horsebox sauna.
​From the early steel fabrication and steel erecting days before Irony Fireside was founded, working with steel has always been part of what the company does. Over the years we have completed many projects from fabricating and installing stairs, balconies and walkways, to gates, railings and even festoons, working with structural engineers as required.
